THE VELVET UNDERGROUND. It all started with The Velvet Underground. Without them and Black Sabbath, the music I love would not exist. The velvet Underground sang about things that were real to them, not the hippie bullshit of the times. They added drones, ussually through John Cale's viola, and free noise as music. They were amazing and their music still holds up and influences countless bands.
