FUGAZI. Out of the ashes of Minor Threat and Rites of Spring sprang forth Fugazi. When I first heard their music it struck me as so harsh and abrasive and yet anthemic and "soulful" if that word can be used to describe what the Fugazi boys did. They did everything sticking rigorously to their own morals, and whether those morals were to your liking or not, you have to respect someone who sticks by their beliefs. Plus, they fucking rocked harder than a magik kiss, to quote the late Wesley Willis.
